A Voice for Indigenous Peoples and Minorities

Indigenous people are among the most disadvantaged people in the world. They often live in resource-rich regions, threatening their way of life with economic interests. Minorities are often discriminated socially, economically or politically. This makes it difficult for them to participate in decision-making processes that affect their way of life and culture. For these reasons, the Society for Threatened Peoples (STP) is committed to indigenous peoples and minorities.

Tourism Concern was founded in 1989 to give a voice to people impacted by the development of the industry around the world, to stand up for their human rights and help them protect their environment. In 2018, the charity was forced to close.
