The International Training Centre is an advanced technical and vocational training institution in the heart of a riverside park in Turin, Italy. Founded in 1964 by the International Labour Organization and the Government of Italy, the Centre’s mission is to achieve decent work for all women and men.Gender-based  violence  violates  fundamental  human  rights  as  established  in  the  1948  UN  Universal  Declaration of Human Rights. These fundamental rights further elaborated by the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, adopted by the UN General Assembly on 16 December 1966. The latter, in particular, expressly requires States parties to the Covenant to recognize the right of everyone to the enjoyment of “safe and healthy working conditions.”
