Statement Ludwig-Maximilians-University: The three pillars of sustainability ecology, economy and social are relevant topics for our students. Particularly in the past years discussions about human rights in tourism and whether tourism can take place in an appreciative way in the destination increased notably. Both the demand of our students and our department’s goal to contribute to sustainable tourism in research and teaching align perfectly with the purpose of the Roundtable Human Rights in Tourism.
