Tourism Declares is a coalition of tourism businesses, organisations and individuals that have declared a climate emergency and are taking purposeful action to reduce their carbon emissions. The coalition exists to enable everyone in tourism to implement the Climate Action Plans needed to halve sector emissions by 2030. Through their own outreach and together with their networks they work to accelerate awareness, commitment and just climate action. Moreover, in collaboration with their partners across destinations and industry, they work to ensure everyone can access the necessary knowledge and tools. They work with a global community of industry and destination leaders to facilitate alignment and inclusive collaboration to deliver action at scale.
