Dementia-friendly tourism A practical guide for business VisitEngland, VisitScotland and Alzheimer’s Society have worked together to produce a practical guide for businesses on dementia-friendly tourism. The 30-page resource is aimed at tourism businesses of all sizes, and begins with introductory information on topics such as ‘Why become dementia-friendly?’, ‘What is dementia?’, and ‘Living well with dementia’. It goes on to present lots of practical suggestions in relation to three key aspects: information, people, and place, and concludes with tips for ‘What can you do next?’ The guide contains five detailed case studies, lots of photographs, and many quotes from people living with dementia.
